What is Samsung Pay?

Samsung Pay allows you to use the Galaxy S6, S6 edge and other select Samsung phones to make in-store mobile payments through the use of built-in technology.

It's accepted at more places than any other mobile payment service because the technology works on new card readers as well as most of those that have been in place for years. Use Samsung Pay at your favorite places - it works virtually anywhere you can swipe your card.* Whether you're at the local convenience store, the neighborhood florist or your favorite boutique - you're good to go.

HOW IT WORKS.

1. Swipe up from the bottom of your screen to launch the app.
2. Secure your transaction with fingerprint authentication.
3. Hover your device close to the card reader, about 1/2 inch over where you'd usually swipe a card.
4. A gentle vibration will let you know payment is being transmitted, and the card reader or cashier will confirm the payment is complete.

SETUP MADE SIMPLE

Add your debit and credit cards in a few simple steps.

1. Launch the app.
2. Your phone's camera will scan in your card information for you to confirm.
3. Next, secure the account with your fingerprint and a backup PIN. In just a few minutes, you'll be ready to go.

*Note, the only compatible devices as of launch date are the Galaxy S6, S6 edge, S6 edge+ and Note 5, and only select carriers (Sprint, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular and AT&T) are supporting Samsung Pay. See www.samsung.com/pay for the latest in compatibility.
