Meritrust offers an impressive benefits package and takes pride in taking care of our employees. Medical, dental and vision programs are offered with comprehensive coverage at very reasonable rates. Company paid benefits include employee assistance, short-term disability, long-term disability, employee life insurance of 2.5 times salary as well as life insurance coverage for spouses and children. For your retirement needs, Meritrust offers both 401k plan and Roth IRA options, and will match a percentage of your contribution. There are no deductibles or copays. Supplemental insurance through Aflac is available.
We promote physical health and well-being of our employees through a company-wide wellness program. To help our employees with their emotional and mental wellness, an employee assistance program is offered through our partner, EMPAC. This resource is available to all employees with six free sessions paid for by Meritrust.
Meritrust is self-insured company, meaning we pay all employee claims ourselves. We also belong to the largest network of healthcare providers. There is a 60-day waiting period for benefit eligibility.
Paid time off
Meritrust's Paid Time Off (PTO) program provides employees the flexibility to use their accrued days in any fashion the employee desires. PTO begins accruing on the date of hire and accrues incrementally each pay period, up to 120 hours per year for the first two years of employment. Additionally, employees receive up to ten paid federal holidays as well as a paid day off annually for their birthday.
Employees receive paychecks biweekly.
CU Well Program
The program's mission is to impact, empower and promote total wellness in every employee's life-physically, financially, emotionally and with-in our communities. By fostering total wellness, Meritrust will continue to invest in the well-being and ultimate success of its employees.
Participating in wellness activities throughout the year will earn you points in the CU Well program. Examples of these are; community participation, attend an exercise class seek financial counseling, and attend our Wellness Fair!
Logging healthy activates in the portal will help you achieve your wellness goals along with earning points when you reach each Mach level. There are 6 Mach Levels with a total of up to $600 wellness bonuses that can be earned.
Committed to providing equal advancement opportunities as well as opportunities for employees' educational and personal growth, Meritrust offers tuition assistance for both regular full-time and part-time employees. Regular part-time employees will be eligible for up to $3,000 reimbursement per calendar year. Regular full-time employees will be eligible for up to $5,250 reimbursement per calendar year.
