Schedule automatic loan payments from your Meritrust checking or savings account through self-service *, over the phone or in a branch. You may also transfer funds with a debit card or check by providing the account and routing numbers from the financial institution of your choice.

* There is a $25.00 fee per loan for deferring your payments. If you are approved to defer your loan payment(s), no late fee will be levied. For loans with repayment schedules due monthly, one payment will be skipped. For bi-weekly repayment schedules, two payments will be skipped. For semi-monthly repayment schedules, two payments will be skipped. For weekly repayment schedules, four payments will be skipped. Your payment(s) will resume subsequent to the skipped payments on the next regularly scheduled payment date. Loan interest will continue to accrue and will be collected when payment(s) resume. Any loan payroll deduction received during this period will be deposited into your share account and will be available for withdrawal. Skip-a-Pay applications submitted to Meritrust in whole or in part that are illegible or incomplete may not be processed. If you have Credit Life and/or Disability, GAP Insurance or Warranties on any loan on which you are deferring any payments, your coverage may be adversely affected. To qualify you must; have made at least one payment on your loan(s), be current on your loan payments, and have a positive balance in all your Meritrust accounts, including your $5.00 minimum share balance. This offer is available on most closed-ended, consumer loans. This offer is not available on 1st Mortgages, Unsecured Lines of Credit (ULOC), Home Equity Lines of Credit (HELOC), Freedom Lines of Credit, Fixed Rate 2nd Mortgages, Commercial Loans and Credit Card Loans. Only two Skip-a-Pay are allowed per loan per calendar year.
